Ritual of Vitriol is the game I made for the 2016 Global Game Jam. I was a one person development team, and I did everything (except the background music) within a period of 48 hours.
This game was relatively successful; it received an honorable mention from the judges. More importantly though, people enjoyed playing this game during the showcase, and a few players came back over and over to keep playing my game.
I’ve written a postmortem explaining my thought process throughout the Game Jam and the design decisions that I made, as well as some workflow optimizations that I prepared beforehand. You can read it here.
