Flock is a one-week project for round 0 of Building Virtual Worlds (Fall 2016). You play as a butterfly, and the goal is to collect other butterflies to restore color to the world. The gameplay and aesthetic are highly inspired by Flower by thatgamecompany.
For this game, I was going for a calm and peaceful feeling, and I wanted the player to sit back and enjoy the butterflies. Future goals for this project would involve VR, which lets the player be even more immersed in the world, as well as additional landscapes that the player can explore.
